## Biography

Tessa Ross is an English film producer and executive. She ran Film4 and Film4 Productions from 2002 to 2014, having been designated Head of Film at Channel 4 in 2000. In 2016 she co-founded House Productions with Juliette Howell.

She has served as executive producer on films including *Billy Elliot* (2000), *127 Hours* (2010), *12 Years a Slave* (2013), *Ex Machina* (2015) and *Room* (2015). As producer she is credited on *The Iron Claw* (2023), *Bird* (2024) and *Conclave* (2024), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture and a BAFTA Award for Best Film. Ross was appointed CBE in the 2010 New Year Honours for services to broadcasting.
