## Biography

Tetsuya Yamada (also credited as 山田 哲弥) is a Japanese screenwriter. His earliest credits include episode writing for the anime series *Knights of Sidonia* (2014) and its 2015 follow-up.

Yamada worked on the Godzilla anime film trilogy, serving as associate writer on *Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters* (2017) and co-writing the screenplay for *Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle* (2018) alongside Gen Urobuchi and Sadayuki Murai. Other credits include *Juni Taisen: Zodiac War* (2017), *Vermeil in Gold* (2022) and the Netflix series *Gamera -Rebirth-* (2023).
