Theis Schmidt is a Danish film and television editor. He graduated from Den Danske Filmskole in 2003.

Schmidt edited the Danish series *The Killing* (2007). His feature film credits include *Easy Money* (2010), *The Nile Hilton Incident* (2017), *Cairo Conspiracy* (2022) and *The Contractor* (2022). He received a Robert Award nomination for best editing for *Ekko* (2007).
