Thimios Bakatakis is a Greek cinematographer. He studied at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos in Athens.

Bakatakis has frequently collaborated with director Yorgos Lanthimos. Their joint credits include *Kinetta* (2005), *Dogtooth* (2009), *The Lobster* (2015) and *The Killing of a Sacred Deer* (2017). He has also served as director of photography on *Attenberg* (2010), *Blind* (2014), *Una* (2016) and *The Lodge* (2019).

Bakatakis received a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Cinematography for *The Killing of a Sacred Deer*.
