## Biography

Thomas Bangalter is a French musician, record producer and composer. He is best known as one half of the electronic music duo Daft Punk, alongside Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.

Bangalter was born on 3 January 1975 in Paris. He has composed scores for several films, including *Irréversible* (2002) and *Climax* (2018), both directed by Gaspar Noé. With Daft Punk he provided the soundtrack for *TRON: Legacy* (2010). Following the duo's split in 2021, he has released solo orchestral work such as the ballet score *Mythologies* (2023).
