Thomas Kloss is an Austrian cinematographer and director. Born on 29 December 1956 in Vienna, he began working as a cinematographer without formal training, assisting on German television productions and commercials before moving to Los Angeles in 1989.

He is known for his work on feature films including *Fear* (1996), *Palmetto* (1998), *Showtime* (2002), *Conan the Barbarian* (2011) and *Don Jon* (2013), as well as the series *Foundation* (2021) and *Treadstone* (2019). Kloss has also shot numerous music videos and commercials, and has directed some commercials and music videos.
