## Biography

Thomas L. Miller was an American film and television producer. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he began his career as an assistant to director Billy Wilder and worked as a development executive at Paramount and 20th Century Fox. He co-founded Miller-Milkis Productions with Edward K. Milkis.

The company produced the feature films *Silver Streak* (1976) and *Foul Play* (1978). In 1979 Miller formed Miller/Boyett Productions with Robert L. Boyett; their partnership produced the sitcoms *Full House* (1987–1995), *Family Matters* (1989–1998), *Perfect Strangers* and *Step by Step*. Miller also produced the 1982 musical film *The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas*.

He died on 5 April 2020 in Salisbury, Connecticut.
