## Biography

Ticky Holgado (born Joseph Holgado) was a French actor. He appeared as Marcel Tapioca in *Delicatessen* (1991), directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro.

Holgado began his career in music before working as personal secretary to singers Claude François and Johnny Hallyday. He turned to acting in his mid-thirties, taking small roles in comedy films. He gained wider recognition in 1991 with *Delicatessen* and *Une époque formidable...*, the latter featuring a role written for him by Gérard Jugnot. He collaborated frequently with Jeunet on films including *The City of Lost Children* (1995), *Amélie* (2001) and *A Very Long Engagement* (2004).
