## Biography

Tillotama Shome is an Indian actress. She made her screen debut as Alice in Mira Nair's *Monsoon Wedding* (2001). She trained in theatre at Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi and performed with Arvind Gaur's Asmita group.

Shome moved to New York in 2004 for a master's degree in educational theatre at New York University and returned to India in 2008. She is known for roles in *A Death in the Gunj* (2017), *Sir* (2018), for which she won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress, *Hindi Medium* (2017), *Delhi Crime* (2019), *Paatal Lok* (2020) and *Lust Stories 2* (2023).

In 2015 she married Kunal Ross, nephew of Jaya Bachchan.
