## Biography

Tim 'Nailer' Foley is an American activist and founder of the volunteer group Arizona Border Recon. He is featured as himself in the 2015 documentary film *Cartel Land*, directed by Matthew Heineman, which follows his work patrolling the US-Mexico border alongside a parallel story of vigilantes in Mexico.

Foley has appeared in other television programmes and films, including *Trump's War on the Border* (2017) as himself and episodes of *Jesse Watters Primetime* (2024) and *Spiegel TV Magazin* (2018). Prior to his border work, he served in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division in the late 1970s and worked in construction.
