## Biography

Tim Norfolk is a composer and one half of the Bristol-based duo The Insects, alongside Bob Locke. Also known earlier as Startled Insects, they began scoring wildlife documentaries for the BBC Natural History Unit and National Geographic in the early 1990s.

Their television work includes all six series of the thriller *Wire in the Blood*, the BBC dramas *Death Comes to Pemberley* (2013) and *The Living and the Dead* (2016), and *Hanna* (2019–2020). In 2020 they collaborated with Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow on the score for the FX/Hulu series *Devs*. Film credits include *Creep* (2004), *Owning Mahowny* (2003) and *Love and Death on Long Island* (1998).
