## Biography

Tim Philo is a cinematographer. He is credited with the photography on Sam Raimi's *The Evil Dead* (1981).

Philo worked on several early Sam Raimi short films, including *Within the Woods* (1978, uncredited in some listings) and *Torro! Torro! Torro!* (1981). He later served as director of photography for the second unit on *Evil Dead II* (1987) and contributed to other shorts and television projects.
