## Biography

Tiny Ross (1910–1994) was a British actor. He appeared as Vermin in the fantasy film *Time Bandits* (1981), directed by Terry Gilliam, and performed the song "Me And My Shadow" in the film. He had previously played a dwarf in *Flash Gordon* (1980) and a member of Tom Thumb's Army in *Black Jack* (1979).

Born Walter John Ross Skudder in Truro, Cornwall, Ross had an earlier career as a harmonica player with Morton Fraser's Harmonica Gang, which toured until the 1960s. He also performed in pantomime across the United Kingdom. During filming of the climax of *Time Bandits*, he broke his arm; the subsequent horse-riding scene was shot with the cast concealed.
