Toa Fraser is a New Zealand director and playwright. Born in London in 1975 to English and Fijian parents, he moved to Auckland in 1989 and graduated from the University of Auckland.

He began his career in theatre before directing feature films including *No. 2* (2006), *Dean Spanley* (2008) and *The Dead Lands* (2014). His television credits include episodes of *Penny Dreadful* (2014), *The Terror* (2018), *Marvel's Daredevil* (2015), *The Rookie* (2018), *Titans* (2018) and *Sweet Tooth* (2021).
