Tobias A. Schliessler is a German cinematographer. Born on 5 November 1958 in Baden-Baden, Baden-Württemberg, he moved to Vancouver in 1979 and studied film at Simon Fraser University.

He began his career working on documentaries and Canadian television productions before relocating to Los Angeles in 1997. Schliessler frequently collaborates with directors Bill Condon and Peter Berg. His credits include *Dreamgirls* (2006), *Hancock* (2008), *Lone Survivor* (2013), *Beauty and the Beast* (2017) and *The Adam Project* (2022). He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and has received Emmy nominations for his television work.
