## Biography

Toby Walton is a British writer and actor. He has written extensively for long-running BBC series, including over 65 episodes of *Doctors* and 18 episodes of *Casualty*.

His writing credits also include an episode of *Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators*. As an actor, he has appeared in *Extras* (2005) as a sitcom director, *Millions* (2004) as Damian's teacher, and episodes of *Jonathan Creek* and *Casualty*.

Walton won the Writers' Guild of Great Britain Award for Best Long Running TV Series in 2023 for a *Doctors* episode and has received RTS and BAFTA nominations for his *Casualty* work. He has been married to actress Freya Copeland since 2001.
