Anderson is known for his recurring role as Vernon Barbara on the series *You're the Worst* (2014–2019). His other television credits include *Grey's Anatomy* (2022), *9-1-1* (2022), *Good Girls* (2018–2021), *Atypical* (2019), *Bones* (2008), *CSI: Crime Scene Investigation* (2003) and *Will & Grace* (2003). Film roles include *Blast from the Past* (1999). He co-created the web series *Film Pigs* (2012–2015).
