## Biography

Tolula Dada is a British writer and playwright. Nigerian-born and London-based, she began her career in journalism and television production, with early credits on programmes including *EastEnders*, *The Culture Show* and *The Film Show*. She has worked in script editing and development for broadcasters including BBC One, ITV, Sky and HBO/Cinemax.

Her theatre work includes the plays *Carrot or Stick?*, nominated for the 2015 Alfred Fagon Award, and *Marry or Burn*, longlisted for the Verity Bargate Award in 2020. As a screenwriter, her credits include episodes of *Grantchester* (2021), *Red Rose* (2022), *No Escape* (2023), *Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story* (2024) and *Gangs of London* (2025).
