Tom Anderson is an American television writer and producer. He began working on the sitcom *Cheers* (1982–1993) as a writer and executive story editor, later serving as co-producer, supervising producer and executive producer on its final seasons.

Anderson wrote for and was executive producer on *Living Single* (1993–1998). He created *The Jeff Foxworthy Show* (1995–1997) and contributed to series including *Newhart*, *Something Wilder*, *George & Leo* and *Kevin Can Wait*. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series for *Cheers* and received three further nominations in the category.
