Tom Butler is a Canadian actor. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, he graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada in 1974 and has worked in theatre, television and film since the late 1970s.

He is known for his role as Michael Mallory in the science fiction series *Sliders* (1995–1996) and for appearances in films including *Renegades* (1989), *Ernest Rides Again* (1993), *Freddy vs. Jason* (2003) and the *Sonic the Hedgehog* series, in which he plays Vice Chairman Walters in the 2020 film and Commander Walters in the 2022 and 2024 sequels. Butler has also had recurring or guest roles in series such as *The Good Doctor*, *The Flash* and *Supernatural*.
