Tom Cornwell (1945–1999) was a film editor. He worked extensively with director John Cassavetes in the 1970s.

Cornwell served as supervising editor on *A Woman Under the Influence* (1974), editor on *The Killing of a Chinese Bookie* (1976) and *Opening Night* (1977). He later worked in sound editing for film and television.
