## Biography

Tom Hall is an Irish writer and director. He studied film at Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design and co-founded High-Hat Productions in the mid-1990s.

He began his career collaborating with John Carney on the feature films *November Afternoon* (1996) and *Park* (1999). The pair later co-created the RTÉ comedy-drama series *Bachelors Walk* (2001–06). Hall has since directed the features *Wide Open Spaces* (2009) and *Sensation* (2010), as well as episodes of series including *Trivia*, *Red Rock* and *Northern Lights* (2023).

In 2019 he wrote and directed two episodes of the Amazon anthology series *Modern Love*.
