## Biography

Thomas Herpich is an American artist, writer and storyboard artist. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts and worked in indie cartooning before joining the animated series *Adventure Time* (2009–2018) as a prop and character designer, later becoming a writer and storyboard artist.

Herpich contributed story and writing to the miniseries *Over the Garden Wall* (2014). He has also written episodes of *Steven Universe* (2013–2019) and *Summer Camp Island* (2017–2023). His work on *Adventure Time* earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation, in 2015 and 2016.
