Tom Junod is an American journalist who has appeared in film and television. Born on 9 April 1958 in Wantagh, New York, he has written for magazines including Esquire, where his 1998 profile of Fred Rogers formed the basis for the 2019 film A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

Junod appeared as himself in the 2018 documentary Won't You Be My Neighbor?, in which he discussed his friendship with Rogers. He played a men's magazine writer in the 2022 series Fleishman Is in Trouble.
