## Biography

Tom Stevens was an American film and television editor. He worked as an editor on the police drama series *Hill Street Blues* (1981), contributing to five episodes, and on the feature film *The Bat People* (1974).

His other editing credits include numerous television films such as *Classified Love* (1986), *International Airport* (1985) and *The Diamond Trap* (1988). He was also credited as a production manager and, later in his career, in the sound department on films including *A Perfect World* (1993). Stevens received one Primetime Emmy nomination.
