## Biography

Tom Szentgyorgyi is an American television producer and writer. He contributed teleplays and stories to *NYPD Blue* (1993) and wrote episodes of *Sports Night* (1998) and *Law & Order* (1990).

He later served as producer on *NYPD Blue* and worked as writer and executive producer on *The Mentalist* (2008). Other credits include writing and producing roles on *Lie to Me* (2009), *Bates Motel* (2013), *Bull* (2016), *FBI* (2018) and *CSI: Vegas* (2021).

Szentgyorgyi has also written for the stage. His play *A Family Man* received a Joseph Jefferson Award Citation for New Work in 1995.
