Tom Verica is an American actor and director. Born on 13 May 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he began his career in theatre, appearing on Broadway in *Prelude to a Kiss*. He later moved into television acting, with roles including Jack Pryor in the NBC series *American Dreams* (2002–2005) and Sam Keating in the ABC series *How to Get Away with Murder* (2014–2020). Film appearances include *Die Hard 2* (1990), *Red Dragon* (2002) and *Zodiac* (2007).

Verica began directing in 2003. He has directed episodes of *Boston Legal* (2007–2008), *Grey's Anatomy* (2007–2011), *Scandal* (2012–2018, where he also served as executive producer) and *Bridgerton* (from 2020, where he is executive producer and director).
