Tomoko Tabata is a Japanese actress. She was born on 26 December 1980 in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto. Tabata began her career as a child actor, appearing in the 1993 film *Moving*.

She is known for roles in films including *The Hidden Blade* (2004) as Shino Katagiri, *Blood and Bones* (2004) as Hanako Kim, *Hana* (2006) and the voice of Menowarawa in *The Tale of The Princess Kaguya* (2013). Tabata has also appeared in television series such as *Legal High* (2012) and *Midnight Diner* (2009). In 2004 she received the Mainichi Film Award for best supporting actress for *The Hidden Blade* and *Blood and Bones*; she won best actress at the Mainichi Film Awards in 2012 for *The Cowards Who Looked to the Sky*.
