Tony Etchells is a British television writer. He contributed screenplays to *Midsomer Murders* in 2005 and 2007.

His other credits include writing 24 episodes of *EastEnders* between 1993 and 2005, multiple episodes of *Doctors* (2007–2017), and creating the 2000 mini-series *Close & True*. He has also written for *Touching Evil*, *The Bill*, *Peak Practice* and other series.
