## Biography

Tony Robinson is an English actor and broadcaster. He played Private S. Baldrick in the BBC historical sitcom *Blackadder* (1983) and its sequels.

He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Robinson has presented historical documentaries including the Channel 4 series *Time Team* (1994–2014) and *The Worst Jobs in History*.

He was knighted in the 2013 Queen's Birthday Honours for public and political service.
