Tricia McAlpin is a writer and actress. She worked on the television series *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* (2013) as a writer, story editor and executive story editor across seasons two to four, contributing to episodes including *Jake and Sophia*, *Stakeout*, *The Chopper*, *Boyle’s Hunch*, *The Cruise*, *Terry Kitties* and *Coral Palms Pt. 2*.

She has also written short films such as *Coffee Snobs* (2011) and *Raw Food Thanksgiving* (2012). McAlpin has a background in improv and sketch comedy, performing and writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and Los Angeles. She is married to actor Eugene Cordero.
