## Biography

Trish Keenan was an English musician and composer. Born in Winson Green, Birmingham, she was the lead vocalist and a founding member of the electronic band Broadcast, formed in 1995 with James Cargill.

Keenan contributed original music, written and performed with Cargill, to the soundtrack of the 2012 film *Berberian Sound Studio*. The largely instrumental score was completed by Cargill after her death.
