## Biography

Troy Garity is an American actor. Born in Los Angeles, he is the son of actress Jane Fonda and activist Tom Hayden. He made an uncredited appearance as a young boy on the jetty in the 1981 film *On Golden Pond*.

Garity trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and performed with its repertory company. He is known for playing Isaac Rosenberg in the *Barbershop* films (2002, 2004 and 2016), Harvey Pollard in *Bandits* (2001) and Harvey in *Sunshine* (2007). For his portrayal of Barry Winchell in the television film *Soldier's Girl* (2003), he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film. He has had recurring roles in the series *Boss* (2011–2012) and *Ballers* (2015–2019).
