## Biography

Shih-Ching Tsou is a Taiwanese-American film producer and director. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, she graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University before completing a master's degree in media studies at The New School in New York. She co-directed, co-wrote, produced and edited the film *Take Out* (2004) with Sean Baker.

Tsou has collaborated extensively with Baker as producer on *Starlet* (2012), *Tangerine* (2015), *The Florida Project* (2017) and *Red Rocket* (2021). She also served as costume designer on *Tangerine* and other projects. Her solo directorial debut, *Left-Handed Girl* (2025), which she wrote, produced and edited, premiered in the Critics' Week section of the Cannes Film Festival.
