Takeshi Shimizu is a Japanese production designer. He served as production designer on *Godzilla 2000: Millennium* (1999) and earlier entries in the series, including *Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth* (1992), *Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II* (1993) and *Godzilla vs. Destoroyah* (1995).

Shimizu has worked on other Japanese films and television productions. His credits include production design on *Attack on Titan* (2015), *First Love* (2019) and the live-action *Fullmetal Alchemist* films (2017 and 2022).
