## Biography

Tuncay Akça was a Turkish actor. Born in Kastamonu in 1963, he began appearing in films as a child in the mid-1970s, including *Our Family* (1975) and the *Chaos Class* series as Bacaksız. He played the lead role of Apo in *Bebek* (1980) and received a special award from the Turkish Film Critics Association.

Akça is known for his role as Yusuf in *The Road* (1982). He continued to work in cinema and television over several decades, with credits including appearances in *Where's Firuze?* (2004) and as Mahmut in the series *Elif* (2008). He died in Istanbul on 17 August 2024.
