## Biography

Turner Ross is an American director and cinematographer. With his older brother Bill Ross IV, he forms the Ross Brothers filmmaking duo, known for their collaborative documentaries and features shot, directed and edited together.

Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1982, Ross began working with his brother on their debut feature *45365* (2009), a portrait of their hometown that won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary Feature at South by Southwest. Subsequent films include *Tchoupitoulas* (2012), *Contemporary Color* (2016), *Bloody Nose, Empty Pockets* (2020) and *Gasoline Rainbow* (2023). He also served as a cinematographer on Raoul Peck’s *I Am Not Your Negro* (2016).
