Typhoon is a baboon who worked as an animal actor in several films. Its credits include an uncredited role as Baboon in *The Fly* (1986) and the title role of Shakma in *Shakma* (1990). It also appeared as Boon in *Unmasking the Idol* (1986) and *The Order of the Black Eagle* (1987).

Typhoon was handled by Gerry Therrien of Action Animals. According to its IMDb page, director David Lynch offered to pay for a memorial service and burial after Typhoon's death; it is the only animal interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
