## Biography

Tze Chun is an American screenwriter, director and producer. Born in Chicago in 1980, he was raised outside Boston, graduated from Milton Academy in 1998 and earned a BA in film studies from Columbia University.

He wrote for the ABC series *Once Upon a Time* (2011) during its fourth and fifth seasons. Other television work includes serving as a writer and executive story editor on *Gotham* (2014), and writing episodes or teleplays for *Little America* (2020) and *I'm a Virgo* (2023). Chun also wrote and directed the feature films *Children of Invention* (2009) and *Cold Comes the Night* (2013).

In 2007 he was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's "25 New Faces of Independent Film". His debut feature *Children of Invention* premiered at Sundance and won multiple festival awards.
