## Biography

Udo Kramer is a German production designer. He studied fine art at the art academies in Münster and Düsseldorf before completing a degree in scenography at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen in Potsdam-Babelsberg in 2005.

Kramer has worked on numerous German and international features and series. Early credits include set design on *V for Vendetta* (2006) and production design on films such as *North Face* (2008), *The Physician* (2013), *The Voices* (2014) and *Point Break* (2015). He served as production designer on all three seasons of the Netflix series *Dark* (2017–2020) and on *1899* (2022).

For Netflix he designed the sets for season six of *Black Mirror* (2023), receiving a BAFTA Television Craft Award nomination for the episode "Demon 79". He has received several nominations for the German Film Award and won awards including the Grimme-Preis for his work on *Dark*.
