## Biography

Ulrich Felsberg is a German film producer. Born in February 1952, he has worked extensively in international co-productions since the 1980s.

In 1986 he took over management of Wim Wenders’ Road Movies Filmproduktion and has produced or executive produced several of the director’s films, including *Until the End of the World* (1991), *Faraway, So Close!* (1993) and *The Million Dollar Hotel* (2000). He has also collaborated frequently with Ken Loach on titles such as *Land and Freedom* (1995), *My Name Is Joe* (1998), *Bread and Roses* (2000) and *The Wind That Shakes the Barley* (2006).

Felsberg produced *Buena Vista Social Club* (1999) with Deepak Nayar; the documentary received an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature. Other credits include *Bend It Like Beckham* (2002) and *Ae Fond Kiss...* (2004). He was a founding member of the Deutsche Filmakademie in 2003.
