Uri Gavriel is an Israeli actor who works in theatre, film and television. He was born on 3 April 1955.

Gavriel won the Ophir Award for Best Actor and shared the Best Actor prize at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival for his performance in the 2005 film *What a Wonderful Place*. His screen credits include *The Delta Force* (1986), *The Kingdom* (2007), *The Band's Visit* (2007), *The Dark Knight Rises* (2012), *Byzantium* (2013), *Mary Magdalene* (2018) and the television series *House of Saddam* (2008), in which he played Ali Hassan Al Majid.
