## Biography

Utkarsh Ambudkar is an American actor, rapper and singer. Born on 8 December 1983 in Baltimore, Maryland, he grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2004.

He is known for his film role as Donald in *Pitch Perfect* (2012) and for playing Jay Arondekar in the series *Ghosts* (2021–), on which he has also directed an episode. Other screen credits include *Free Guy* (2021), *tick, tick... BOOM!* (2021) and voice work in *The Simpsons*. He made his Broadway debut in *Freestyle Love Supreme* in 2019.
