## Biography

Uwe Schott is a German film and television producer. Born in 1966 in Düsseldorf, he has worked in the industry since the mid-1990s, initially as a production manager before producing feature films and series.

He co-founded Sperl + Schott Film and joined X Filme Creative Pool in 2009, later becoming chairman of its management board. Schott has produced or served as executive producer on titles including *Cloud Atlas* (2012), *Amour* (2012), *Brimstone* (2016), *A Hologram for the King* (2016), *Frantz* (2016), *TÁR* (2022) and the series *Babylon Berlin* (2017–).

His credits also include *Isi & Ossi* (2020), *The Dark Valley* (2014) and *Alone in Berlin* (2016).
