## Biography

Valentin Féron is a French film editor and composer. After studying at the École préparatoire Arts Plastiques (Atelier de Sèvres) and the Université Jules Verne in Amiens, he completed a master's degree in cinematography at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2009. He began working as an editor in 2010 on the short film *Vers le Nord*, directed by Youssef Chebbi, for which he also composed the score.

Féron has edited numerous feature films, including *Two Is a Family* (2016), *Someone, Somewhere* (2019), *Black Box* (2021), *The Origin of Evil* (2022), *Visions* (2023) and *The Substance* (2024). He co-edited the latter with Jérôme Eltabet and director Coralie Fargeat. He has also worked on television series such as *Bref* and *Les Enfants sont rois* (2024), and frequently collaborates with directors including Yann Gozlan and Sébastien Marnier. He is a co-founder of the record label Bookmaker Records.
