## Biography

Valentina L. Garza is an American screenwriter and television producer. A native of Los Angeles, she studied comparative literature at the University of California, Berkeley. She began her career as a writers' assistant on the Telemundo sitcom *Los Beltrán*, where she wrote her first episode, and later joined the Warner Bros. Television Writers Workshop.

Garza wrote for *The Simpsons* for six seasons, contributing episodes including 'Four Great Women and a Manicure', which received an Annie Award nomination, and 'Opposites A-Frack', which won an Environmental Media Award. She went on to work as a writer and co-executive producer on *Jane the Virgin*, serving as consulting producer on *Only Murders in the Building* and as executive producer and showrunner on *XO, Kitty*. She wrote an episode of *Wednesday* Season 2 and served as co-executive producer on the series.
