Valentina Yakunina is a Russian actress. She was born on 23 February 1957 in Kotelnikovo, Volgograd Oblast. She graduated from the acting faculty of GITIS in 1979.

From 1980 to 1986 she worked in Moscow theatres, including the Mayakovsky Theatre and MKhAT. After moving to the United Kingdom she appeared in British television, including the role of Natalie in *Lovejoy* (1993). Her film credits include *Vassa* (1983), *Surviving Picasso* (1996) as Lydia, and *Mission: Impossible* (1996) as the Drunken Female IMF Agent. She performed as Queen Isabel in a Royal Shakespeare Company production of *Richard II*.
