## Biography

Vanessa Marimbert is a Spanish film and television editor. Born in Santander in 1972, she studied journalism at the University of the Basque Country and specialised in film editing at the ECAM with a scholarship from the Fundación Botín.

She has edited feature films including *Amar* (2016), *El plan* (2018) and *The Good Boss* (*El buen patrón*, 2021), for which she won the Goya Award for Best Editing in 2022. Her credits also include documentaries directed by Carlos Saura such as *Flamenco, Flamenco* (2010) and work on television series. She is a co-founder of the Asociación de Montadores Audiovisuales de España (AMAE).
