## Biography

Veronika Jenet is an Australian film editor. She began working in the industry in the 1980s after moving to Australia from Germany, where she had trained as a civil engineer. Early credits include sound editing and editing on short films and features by Jane Campion, under the name Veronika Haussler or Häussler.

Jenet has maintained a long collaboration with Campion, editing *Sweetie* (1989), *An Angel at My Table* (1990), *The Piano* (1993), *The Portrait of a Lady* (1996) and *Holy Smoke* (1999). She received an Academy Award nomination for best film editing for *The Piano*, along with BAFTA and American Cinema Editors nominations. Other notable credits include *Rabbit-Proof Fence* (2002), *Snowtown* (2011) and *Lore* (2012).

She is a member of the Australian Screen Editors guild and has won multiple Australian Film Institute and Inside Film awards for her editing work.
