## Biography

Veruschka von Lehndorff, professionally known as Veruschka, is a German model, actress and artist. Born Vera Anna Gottliebe Gräfin von Lehndorff on 14 May 1939 in Königsberg, East Prussia, she began her career as a model after studying textile design in Florence.

She appeared as herself in Michelangelo Antonioni's *Blow-Up* (1966). Her other film roles include Gräfin von Wallenstein in *Casino Royale* (2006) and the Countess in *The Bride* (1985). She has also worked as an artist, including body painting and photography collaborations.
